DOAS system operates a graphic calendar to show how service workers are loaded. This visual calendar makes appointment making easy with customers. Workers can access all program functions easily on the surface of the calendar; there is no need for searching in a complicated menu. With the data in this calendar an optimized web-based costumer check-in application can be provided for customers
Work done by maintenance can be recorded and registered easily with the bar code system operated by DOAS During the establishment of this construction RUBIN opted for the simplest and easiest solution. At the beginning and t the end of work the bar codes of the worksheet and the worker is read.
DOAS is able to read manufacture work norm booklets and to handle predefined reparation menus. Own and new work norms and menus can be freely created by the operating company as well.
Earlier mending of vehicles, information about the parts used can be accessed easily from the worksheet. Reparations at different sites and previous reparations are also available in the DOAS.
An offer can be created with consideration of parts prices, work norms, and discounts.
With the use of check-boxes the most important parameters (swap car necessity, bring-it-take-it services)can be easily recorded on the worksheet. In order to make data recording easier – where possible – selection takes place from the list. If a vehicle has already been to the garage data is available from the earlier worksheet.
DOAS can handle a complicated system of fees and work types. It also gives the opportunity to the customer to select the discount form provided in the contract. Discount is available for parts, groups of parts, work, menu and the combination of these. Beside discounts from the contract, there is an opportunity for handling sale and temporary discounts as well.
DOAS system handles all important data in connection with insurances (insurer, retention, obsolence, VAT circle) and the invoice is created in accordance with the requirements of the very transaction. Payment by the insurer is automatically issued from the payer’s charge account.
DOAS also handles guarantee and equity transactions as well. If the necessary interface is available it can send reparation data to the manufacturer, and it can receive manufacturing confirmation and feedback
DOAS provides the means necessary for costumer call back for servicing control. Thus, customer satisfaction can be measured and adapted.
A twofold connection can be established between the electronic catalogue (e.g.: in case of Ford eCat system) and the equipment for reparation. DOAS’s actual stock can be seen in the outer system, from which the created reparation basket is transferable to the DOAS system by pressing just one button. So, remaining at our example necessary parts can be check in the eCat system, DOAS will let them know about actual part, VIN, and before the launching of the repair process eCat can provide information to DOAS about the relevant parts.
DOAS is capable of issuing collective invoice for bigger customers, fleets on a monthly basis, containing data from several worksheets.
Information about parts in stock can be accessed from the worksheet, thus customer questions can be replied to immediately. If the necessary part is not available order can be initiated from the worksheet. In case of larger reparation or special parts there is an opportunity to issue an advance invoice.
DOAS can be used to create a register of the work planned an done and attendance of workers.
The system contains the general queries at ready, moreover it contains unique and ad hoc queries as well, and these can be filtered and searched and saved for later use.
DOAS is capable of creating BM – Business Management – reports. The company that defines the report is related to 28 manufacturers in 36 countries and has a contract with 28.000 dealer, from which it collects data and sends feedback to on a monthly basis.
